MEET THE DOCTOR

Dr. Marsha Plater, a native of Calvert County, Maryland and graduate of Takoma Academy, Takoma Park, MD earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Maryland, College Park.  She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Maryland, College Park.  Dr. Plater has been in private practice in Calvert County for more than 20 years.  Her honors include White House Fellow finalist in 1995, 1990 Calvert County Business and Professional Woman of the Year nominee, the first Timeless Beauty Winner for WHUR radio in 2003 and one of the 40 Calvert County Blossoms service awards from the Maryland General Assembly.

She is now a proud mother of a beautiful baby girl, Queenie Plater.
